Volunteers

We raise the majority of our funds through events, and we are always looking for people to help us with them!

Current opportunities available involve:

Outdoor Events e.g. Sunshine Run

Before the event: Promotion - handing out leaflets and posters. Admin - sending out application forms, recording applications, data entry & mail merge, sending out runner packs.

On the day: Setting up, Marshalling, Manning left-luggage, Taking late registrations, Handing out water / medals, Collecting donations, Clearing up

Black Tie Events e.g. Sunflower Ball

Setting up the room - Dressing tables, Putting together goody bags.

On the evening - looking after tables, taking donations, helping with the auction & other fundraising activities

Furthermore, working closely with the CSV (Community Service Volunteer Bureau), we will be developing a volunteer recruitment programme that ensures volunteers are reimbursed for their expenses whilst volunteering and have access to help and advice when needed.

Volunteering can be so rewarding; it greatly enhances your CV and offers you the chance to meet other like-minded people, whilst knowing that you are helping to help raise vital funds for disabled children at the same time.
