Hunt on for beauties

Could you be crowned Miss Newcastle 2008 ?

Hundreds of applications for the coveted title have been flowing into Tyne Tees Models, Newcastle . They will be whittled down to just 20 for the heat at Newcastle Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park, Newcastle .

Beauties will take to the catwalk on May 8 and each one will be interviewed by the host on stage in front of a panel of judges.

The event will also include an auction and raffle which will raise money for the Chronicle’s Sunshine Fund. Hosted by Simon Robertson, the evening will include entertainment from jazz singer Jason Isaacs.
